We have been looking at houses to build that would be energy efficient, and came across these round houses.  So we thought we would take a detour on our trip to take a look at the factory where they are made. Deltec homes,
We are impressed they gave us a tour of the factory.  Then we drove to the model home.  This one is a two story,  we would only have one. The beauty of them is you can put walls where ever you want, as the walls on the outside are supporting the roof, no supporting walls inside,  so it can be really open plan, and Windows everywhere. It is made in the factory and shipped, and can be up in 3 days.  Pretty cool.
