Mechanical problem

While we were out meeting Crisha  and her family, our steps stopped working.  Jim worked on trying to free them, tried all the suggestions from the View Navion blog.  So we went to the dealer in Atlanta on our way out.  2 hours later they said we needed a new step motor, they didn't have one.  So I got on the phone  calling all the dealers along 75 no good. Then we stopped in Tennessee,  They had two.  Two hours later after trying both, the gears would not match up. Bummed out we headed out.  Stopped at a rest stop because I wanted to crawl under there and take a picture of the motor.  Did that. Then opened the door and the steps popped out.
