Yellowstone
Beautiful drive to Yellowstone coming in the East Entrance. Its stunning.
We got in around 6pm and drove for about 45 min until we found Newton Creek campsite, beside the river.
Sign says only hard sided campers because its a Grisly Bear area.
We cooked dinner on the fire with driftwood we picked up on the beach. Even brussels sprouts in foil with butter and some water. I had Salmon also cooked in foil. Jim had a steak. Also toasted sour dough bread on the grill, what a feast.
Teddy Roosevelt arch at the north entrance. Cute little town.
I was walking to the little park to get some water, when a bunch of elk came running towards me.
Just stopped for the night at a rest area along side the Yellowstone River. Just cooked Shrimp pasta with my homemade Pesto. Its really windy.
