Drive from Yellowstone to Glacier National Park, through the middle of Montana.
Gorgeous wide open spaces. We have not been on a highway all day. Huge sky's, vast grasslands tons of cattle, such a relaxing drive even though we were driving all day. There were a few one horse towns very cute. We stopped for lunch at an old fashioned diner, Bison burger, and good chilli. We also stopped at an old fashioned hardware store to buy roll pins to fix a broken latch. We got to Glacier late and the sky was looking angry. We had no reservations, no maps, no info at all about campsites, and we didn't see a welcome center. So we drove into the park and stopped at the 1st campsite we came across. Two Medicine campground. What a gorgeous place.
