Two Medicine Campground

It rained when we got here, so a good time to wash the bugs off the camper.  This morning after talking to the camp host we went for a stroll to the lake and found the ranger station, got maps and hiking guides. We walked to medicine lake and a boat was just leaving at 9am for a tour of the lake.  We jumped on, only 3 others on board, a lovely old wooden boat. The kid with the mike was great and very enthusiastic, with good information. After eggs and bacon for breakfast, we went for a 7 mile hike up to Twin Falls. Very windy...,  walking  along the North Shore.  Then we had a Good Medicine Strong Red Ale at 7.5% which  knocked us out.

Getting  excited about our trip. Leaving 24th May 2026.  Flying to England. Stay with Simon & Louise for 2 days. Then we leave in the camper to cross the channel Dover to Calais. Then take 10 days to get to Split, Croatia, where we go cruising on a 54ft sailing yacht. Meeting Georgia, Matt, Parker Fisher, My neice Sophy and her boyfriend Charley. Dover to Split Boat Tour Nita and Tom are taking care of Barkley. He loves it at their house.  Here we go. Arrived on time. We each had 3 seats to lay down and rest.  Just took a nap. Jet lag... Dover, met up with Jill and Steve Ferry from Dover to Calais. It's been so hot. Nice to cool off. Ist stop Bapaume staying in a great spot in the middle of town, even have power.  Louise bought fresh cream slices. So good. Lovely sleep nice and cool.  Walked in to town for bread. ...

Salt Springs Ocala 2026 site 90 closer to the spring.

2 nights at our favorite spring. The weather was really hot on Wednesday when we got there so we jumped in the cool water and after that it was overcast, which was great. Most of the time we had the Spring to ourselves because we went early, then later in the evening when everyone had gone home. So many huge fish 🐟 Striped Bass, like 3ft long, Mullet, blue crab, black sucker fish, blue gill, sunfish. Playing  cards  They play together so well. Sucker fish.
