Grand Prismatic Hot spring
Is the largest hot spring in Yellowstone at 370 feet in diameter and 121 feet deep it is listed as the 3rd largest in the world. We went to a Ranger program at our campground in Madison campground tonight. The Ranger giving the lesson on the Super volcanoe that formed Yellowstone was a Geology Professor Emeritus from Oregon State Univ, he was so good, gave a great presentation. Now I know more than I did this morning.
