3 fabulous days at Chetticamp Nova Scotia time to move on

We were just setting off for a hike from the camp when a couple came up to us asking if we knew where the trail head was.  They had come in on a cruise ship and been dropped of at the campsite, I said we were just on our way and why didn't they join us, so they did.  Fabulous hike straight up the mountain,  impressive views of all of Chetticamp Bay and town and the St. Lawrence Gulf where we saw their small cruise ship anchored out. They were from San Francisco,  originally from Saigon. She was 61 he 71, and they were very fit and used to hiking.  Took us a good three hours to hike the 8 kilometer Acadian Trail with them. Maybe we will see them again as they are going to Sydney, then Halifax next on their cruise - both places we are going.
After that hike, we showered, had lunch and  set off for Sydney.  Stopped to get gas and coffee at a Tim Hortons. I looked out the window up at a tree and saw a huge bird. Jim said that's a Bald Eagle, so we got out the big lens.
